A horn carries it's tone in the wavering ambient density. The blur between terrestrial and cosmic finds distinct lines that somehow seem straight in the sinuous echoes. Distant calls piercing the ambient goo. These sounds are the resting place for Sean Flynn by the Clash. Ray Monde's alto sax is the streetlight beaming through shadowy mist. J. Novick creates the climate, the heavy haze filled with waning commotion and the onslaught of prismatic dreams. Field recordings provide the depth, bringing both artists into a reality all can be present in. Seven tracks finding time in close to a half an hour. The balance of sound both artists create together is intoxicating. Invigorating and poignant mixed with hypnotically heavy, Ray Monde & J. Novick are an algebraic exponent of captivating. Released in a very, very limited edition of thirty-seven. Each copy printed on hand made paper, every cassette being different and unique.
