Hiram - Immersion

Deep within the depth of natural surroundings, the aural warmth covers conscious with entrenching serenity. This dense fluidity connecting all things, the mind rests in tranquil harmony. Four elements seem to converge into a single harmonic source. Sometimes words show up to the gathering and are dreadfully out of place. From the roots of northern America, Hiram channels timeless energies into sonic delight.

 

Matthew Hiram Himes is the creativity within the Hiram project. With more than twenty years of experience balancing sound on pinnacles of tranquility, Immersion is a completely beautiful addition to his discography. Four selections built around the course of one day, listeners experience the breath of radiant vibrations in the solar cycle. The medium being water, Matthew creating the sonic pathway for these heavy molecules to fall, some be absorbed, others condense and evaporate back to their origins. This theme is beautifully done in real time with outstanding creativity, patience and experience as foundations. As said in many descriptions of past sounds, ambient compositions like Immersion can go over the top quickly. Fortunately Hiram has a heart filled with true warmth and shares a creative masterpiece everyone needs to experience. 

 

Released on compact disc in a very limited edition of fifty copies. Immersion is a new edition of the Home & Garden label based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
