Michael Cormier-O'Leary - Heard From The Next Room

Contemplative notes matching thoughts. A focused run of ideas building to something more. Then the approach stumbles, both notes and thoughts tripping on substance not in tune. The process moves forward, gathering again to become a melody or idea. But the preciseness of the beginning is not regained. The contemplative pathway finds a groove, a place where both clarity and inconsistency coalesces. The harmony of reality, moving in a desired direction with understanding the path is sometimes overgrown. This is what i "Heard From The Next Room" and was completely at peace.

To understand how special the composition Heard From The Next Room is from Michael Cormier-O'Leary, listen to this future release scheduled for May, 5th.

A song like "Newest Oldest Punk" holds melodies and a refreshing rawness, but Heard From The Next Room is an unearthing of unrehearsed sonic threads into the soul. The piano work Michael explores is very similar to the myriad of moments each of us experience everyday. To find an artist with the ability to explore multiple paths is special and starting with such an intimate composition brings us immediately closer to who they really are.

Released on Lily Tapes & Discs in an edition of seventy five. Michael Cormier-O'Leary had a previous release on Lily Tapes & Discs with the project Hour. A larger group of contributing to Anemone Red, but still filled with ability to touch feelings. Cassette copies of Heard From The Next Room are currently available form Lily Tapes & Discs.
