COIMS - IMPROV 2 IMPROVE Solo Series Cassette

Sounds made by the artist as single recorded copies. The Bristol, UK based project COIMS is burning down this path. Difficult to describe what sounds anyone else will hear since the recording i have is different than all of the others. Also, not sure how many of COIMS has made. Maybe there will be a gathering of all copy holders or there could be an organized swap of recordings over some future course of time. This concept is unique and personal with possibilities and potential. Supporting artists in a different way, allowing ultimate creativity.

For this edition, COIMS traverses the sonic spectrum. Disturbed guitar rhythms with shredded feedback, introspective organ, oscillating strings echoing in the moment, maniacal electronics sounding angular and angry. The variations continue and aural facets blur with both rhythmic and disseminating connections. A lengthy treat on this Solo Series Cassette holding stages for what would be considered as separate tracks. Fluid currents with creativity in a comprehensible journey, COIMS takes the listening experience into account keeping the composition congruent. There is surely much to explore on every release in this series.
