Brian Weza - Fizzles
Far within the massive recesses of Fizzles, a rhythm pulses. In the sense of sonic recognition, a definitive cadence may be difficult to pinpoint, but the ordinances in sound are most beautifully present. An ambient stasis using aural sequences to extend through both time and space. Patterns becoming the meditative schema, the familiarity and footholds to extend far from Hamlet's proverbial mortal coil. This is the first solo release for Brian Weza, a composition holding pathways back to early discovery of new age cassettes in childhood. After listening through these selections a few times, gonna stop and just say "wow", your first solo release... Fizzles sounds more align with creativity from seasoned ambient musicians. This composition could be in the catalog of many veterans in the field, with expectations of their newest release to be superb and fulfilling. Fizzels clocks in with over an hour of heavy tranquility. There is a weighty atmosphere persisting over the entire course of these tracks. Nothing close to the forlorn drone of other introspective compositions. The album ls is more akin to spiritual medicine injected deep into the nucleus of the conscious. The place where the body and mind blur and the low resonating vibrations Brian Weza crafts seem to fuse together.
Released on the Queens, New York label We Be Friends on both compact disc and cassette. Either edition is in a very limited quantity of only forty. Fizzles officially released on November 21st, so either edition is currently available.
