Marmur - Elektroniczne Systemy
Sounds from deep within the circuit board amplified by exponential creativity for the bandwidth of human hearing. Elektroniczne Systemy focuses on current flow and the raucous pathways this energy follows. At least this is the description for the longest selection titled Drenaż. This is a very spacious piece, sometimes the sounds seem forever distant. Connected in an ambient landscape of construct and chemistry. The opening selection Ludzkość is more cacophonous but also holds a melodic timbre. String plucked notes with chaotic rhythms from a plethora of sources. This arrangement is a very well conceived opening selection for the two tracks to follow. Objazd is the final track and is by far the most relentless. The overload is happening. A deluge of RPMs from an array of slowly diffusing sources.
This is the project Marmur a duo of two well experienced artists Artur Rumiński and Macio Moretti. The physical release is on gold compact discs released by the Warsaw label Rope Worm. This label has releases tilting towards different sonic directions, but i think Elektroniczne Systemy could be more central to the core of many of the sounds they share. Another beautiful release both in sound and art.
