Many Hands - There are Moss Balls in Paradise
There are Moss Balls in Paradise is an essence of looking up, or listening in a slightly different direction. Life and the beautiful exuding energy radiating through conscious is every where. This composition connects the points, from Many Hands to every listening body, gorgeous experiences are shared. A finely balanced recording of meditative vibrations and stories of continuance. A sonic quilt, unfamiliar on first covering but quickly becoming warm and securely familiar.
Many Hands is the project of David Henderson, a first recording offered after a moment was taken to reflect on flowing internal love. And how beautiful the conveyance is. Listeners are brought in and sat by the fire, offered a warm beverage while dazzled in life's woven fibers. The experience is singular but the feeling is what we all desire in our deepest substance. I am so lost when listening to this tape, i can not definitively figure out if side A is a repeat of side B. I want to say it is but there is a feeling it's not.
This is the second release from a new Los Angeles, California label titled Variable Recordings. The label curator is Ian MacPhee. Lost in a Sea of Sound has had the pleasure of listening to a couple of Ian's compositions released by the label Already Dead Tapes and Records. A strong precursor to how good this label will be. Jump in now, There are Moss Balls in Paradise is the second release on Variable Recordings and still in the preorder phase. The first release from September 2025 titled Opaque Fluid Garden by Jay Howard and Ian MacPhee is still available on cassette as well. Mastered by with love and experience by Andrew Weathers!
