Star Card - Trash World

Trash World has been on repeat for a good while now. To the point of seventy five physical editions from Already Dead have been reduced to only two remaining. So the quick note to hold is make the purchase if these sounds interest you. And they most definitely will...

The balance of catchy harmonies with a full assortment of varying pace, vocals and toe tapping instrumental energy makes Trash World a composition of extreme beauty. This is an album that plays as a whole. The energy within flows with graceful power. Mesmerizing vocals by Calley, Jake Whitener on guitar, Jackson Tarricone on bass, and Brendan Landis over the drums, Star Card is a band that must sound even better live. The tape is all there is to go by for me and pushes thoughts of an in person performance. Best of all is the gorgeous creativity held within this over forty minute composition. With this craftsmanship rest a strong nostalgia to preceding sonic works. The mind drifts with thoughts of this track sounds like that and the next track sounds like this. Was going to try and be "record store smart" and make the comparisons... Will only say the most relevant aspect of Star Card is how easily their lp Trash Wold finds the perfect branch to perch on and deliver it's songs. Glad to have them playing all day.

As mentioned, an Already Dead Tapes and Records release in an edition of seventy five. Down to only two. Listen for sure and grab a tape while you can!
