Once again, Jordon Christoph permeates the conscious with molecular grace. A slow current of melting drone with saturating cosmic sound particles. Somehow the DNA sequence is being unlocked, the spiritual lid pops open and a glass picture of cool sparkling energy is poured straight in. Jordan Christoff's aural formula changing slightly from composition to composition. Whatever the tweaks are by Jordon, listening any at moment to Nonlinear will rejuvenate and tranquilized simultaneously. The album holds five lengthy tracks, all with similar construct. The selections are even named by the album title and number, although nothing is in order and the only details are within the extremely fluid body of work.

 

The longest selection titled nonlinear 1, which is the fourth track has the ultimate length to showcase Jordan Christoff's creativity. The slowest and most gentle approach to coercing flattened cognizance to unfold tucked demesne. Listening expands thoughts as vibrations charge karma in proper direction. Three quarters of the way in on nonlinear 1, we hear sonic meteors. The atmosphere outside ourselves is alive and we attune with the most primal awareness. Nonlinear is like this on all selections, but track four is the favorite for this description. This will easily change when listening again, another moment, another collection of presence. 

 

For all the physical medium fans out there, Nonlinear sold out very quickly from the Cosmic Winnetou bandcamp page.  Jordan Christoff has no physical copies available as well. The digital is available and well worth listening! The art design is by Cosima Pitz and mastering by by Günter Schlienz. Also a cool note from the bandcamp descriptions "All music and custom sound design recorded live with synthesizers, samplers and effects. No computer sounds or presets present during the recordings process."
