KATO - Ihmiskulttuuri
A little bit out of my listening knowledge, KATO is a hard-core punk band from St. Louis Missouri. They play with extreme fever. A reckless virus started over 40 years ago that sped around the world. The energy within focuses in Finland and all of the lyrics are in Finish. Thinking about how music traveled back into the 80s, it was a very big push to listen to hard-core music from different parts of the world. Finding record stores or friends might have been the only resource. The punk scene was big, but not really that large to have saturation and many of the smaller venues across the states. KATO has more resources now a higher ability to hone in on the influences for their aspiring sounds today.
Enough about the semantics of how music travels through society. KATO is an avalanche of precise power the rhythm and beats beyond escape. Ihmiskulttuuri is roots of hard-core, punk and probably metal as well. There is an underlying lament. A ferocious sorrow of bleak world and it’s lost inhabits. Awaken from the bellows you have been found. The bright pounding within will clear your tarnished spirits.

This album is released by Feral Kid Records on black vinyl in an edition of three hundred. Printed book with lyrics and photos included within. Copies are available from the label's website.
