Expensive People
Aural patterns have melted away. A combination of consciousness embodying physical gesticulations to produce a sonic field of mysterious cacophony. Artist and musicians pulling and warping sounds on the other side of imagination. With a slight tilt in one direction, this composition could turn harshly savage. Not so for Expensive people. The third and longest selection "ancillary sediment" is a haunting narcotic and an excellent marker of beautiful patience/restraint. Heavy rumble in an open spaces, sounds clashing like cirrus clouds far above, this is the proverbial wasteland and it is spectacular. These selections do have plenty of strong man pipe bending though. Almost hard to expect less from the three players, L. Eugene Methe, Bryan Day and Alex Boardman. Each artist alone with a blistering pedigree, and together a exponential deliquescing combination. Amazingly with how cold and foreign this composition is, a core of radiant warmth permeates listener's bodies. Thoughts receiving and processing the sonic imprints, but the inner being within each of us is truly where Expensive People fines happy rest.
