This is sedation's antonym, an horse pill sized aural noise capsule lodging in the forefront of the conscious. Stenciled on the outer casing of the translucent shell are the letters CHICAGO, followed by two eyes, one winking. There seems to be few other places sounds can be so aggressive, angular and disjointed, but still riding the saturated line of cohesive melodic energy. Within rests a ferocious group of musicians armed with the most basic instruments, guitar, bass and drums. Together, they travel down unexplored paths of frenzied paradise. Like a rocket ship launching from the cape, listeners hear the roar of power causing thrust, but trying to understand the intricate details is left for scientists and music scholars.
