Swingsets - FIXIN'

A crack in the earth slowly opens to distant depths below. From recessed and obscured mire, the sounds of Swingsets waft upwards, choking thoughts and melting minds. With the opening track titled Slow Country, these sounds begin like slowly billowing smoke from a fresh burning fire. Quickly electronic flames begin to augment with veracity. The heart pounds with the systematic beat rumbling from the Morlock's world beneath the earth. This album titled FIXIN' is beautifully heavy, mysteriously ponderous and bent on igniting the "lurk" inside all of us. Eight selection with the longest and most dramatic titled Down Yonder, a instrumental ballad for continents breaking apart and crashing together.
