Milkyway Lemonade - Magical Mind Magical Body
Logan's Run had to have one person who spoiled everything. Darn freakin' Logan, if you did not question the dogma stemming from centuries, everything would still be Magical Mind Magical Body. Perfect bliss of synthesizer and rhythm, days blurring through trivial responsibilities and pleasures. Oh, and please add in the secret dark overtones of "your gonna die" just as self awareness and the beginning of any wisdom intersect. This project by Tyler Johnston titled Milkyway Lemonade has a coolness spanning back to the seventies, deep groovyness with futuristic dark clouds. Magical Mind Magical Body is fully realized, this is a composition meant to be heard as a whole. Much appreciation to be given here, a beautiful album built for long stints in a cassette player (or bit bender). Also much love for a little dub style as in the track "sun drip". As with many albums listened to, the longest track is pure magic. This selection is titled "Mind Scanner" filling thoughts with Stewart Copeland's The Rhythmatist album with a news flash of epic signature. Every selection in Magical Mind Magical Body is truly magic sounding, a gorgeous album filled with energy, grooves, nostalgia and warmth. Please don't miss this one.
Hopefully Crash Symbols printed enough of these cassettes, first run is one hundred and fifty. Released in the first week of June 2025, copies are available now.
