Eric Angelo Bessel - Mirror at Night

The morning is still dark and in the blackness the distances reaching away hold hidden activities. Maybe the moon is above, the sky is clear and atmospheric glow marginally illuminates the surroundings. Alternatively the sky is overcast and a fog has settled in, unknown energies have another blanket of cover protecting their escapades. Light from the sun begins to silhouette the distant horizon. The world around begins to take form. This new release titled Mirror at Night silhouette begins with a slow awakening. The first two selections are perfect companions for rotational suspense, the radiant force of a star changing dark to light as celestial bodies move in silent dance. The third selection titled Scavengers adds a precursor of mysterious and a hint of trepidation. These sounds and ambient drifts have turbulent currents lurking deeper beneath. The sonic landscape becomes serene again as radiant energy warms the bodies it touches. Cosmic and elegant, these are the connecting feelings for many of the selections within Mirror at Night silhouettes. The seventh and eighth selections Hesitation and Headlamps are interludes or change in timbre for the composition . Both introspective, asking for truth in the growing warmth in hearts. The remaining four selections are meditative ambient empyrean. Much of Mirror at Night silhouette contains this cosmic quality. A very well thought out compositional structure from start to finish with a beautiful four track finale.  

 

Eric Angelo Bessel has shared a gorgeous composition. Sounds go from dark to light and contain the connective spiritual fibers that allow the listening conscious a place of warmth and serenity. Released on vinyl in a limited edition of only two hundred. Physical copies are currently available from Portlan, Oregon's Lore City Music label.
