Hipwell - Culte Voyeuriste
Stillness is broken with subtle sonic vibrations. Cascading thoughts, newly revealed possibilities, cosmic guitar energies making leaves shimmer and the world ever so gently quake. Conduits open causing feelings to swell, the radiant ambience stirs physical space. A slight grin confirms as a smile, Hipwell does not see, but knows now. This composition is titled Culte Voyeuriste, three selections simply titled Dance, Dancing, and Dancer.
Culte Voyeuriste starts with gorgeous droning ambience. Sounds from the guitar brush the horizon painting an unreplicable vibrancy. Tranquility steeps in as listener's conscious space brews like murky tea. The second selection is the shortest of the three and also the most focused. Hipwell has a rich guitar rhythm and the surrounding sonic spaces dance with curing swirls of the highest vibrations. Finally we sink in to the third and longest track. The aural vista which is Culte Voyeuriste, melting within thoughts, adding to the imprinted feeling of primordial connection.
Cassettes released by Geology Records out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Adam Hipwell resides in Melbourne, Australia. There is a note regarding a good portion of the music was recorded on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung land with much love and respect. An interesting root to these sounds, they truly are fantastically ancient. There are also many artist who are involved with this composition:
