Paweł Szamburski - Długo, długo nic, a potem wszystko

Długo, długo nic, a potem wszystko is a gorgeous composition evoking mystery from sounds of the clarinet and a full orchestra. The composition was written by Paweł Szamburski who also plays the clarinet, the orchestra is AUKSO, Chamber Orchestra of the City Tychy in southern Poland. Seven relatively short pieces with the last being the longest and most classically empowered. The six selections forming the body of the composition are fashioned around the open ocean. Surface, Waves, Turbulence, Calm Before the Storm, Storm, Order and then finally the seventh track Farewell. Paweł Szamburski melodies, notes and noises are incredibly well thought out. The musicians, both Pawel and the Orchestra take on these smaller pieces of the whole with gorgeous detail, timing and proficiency. All professional, classical trained and filled with a love for music, that resonates within every moment of all seven selections. These selections can be enjoyed individually, everything holding its own, or the entire composition as a whole.

Released on the Rope Worm label out of Warsaw, Poland in on gold compact discs. Copies are currently available from the Rope Worm bandcamp page.
