Deuce Avenue - Death of Natural Light

In the creases of radiant saturation, a world of ambient emptiness unfolds. Our reality of incarnate presence flickers in time, moments of warmth dispersing into a vast sea of temporal space. Death of Natural Light breaths in these latitudes, adding sonic texture for the conscious to gain traction. Helping movement far into the recesses of nothingness. A dead sea with the faintest lap of waves bending across the shore, the sound created almost to faint to hear. This physical interaction has been ongoing long before human awareness, and will continue far past the gusts of life walking the shore. Stop and listen deeply, Death of Natural Light exposes the palpable threads of energy connecting all things. A new fascination will emerge from the nebulousness.

Noah Anthony is the source behind the project Deuce Avenue. There are a couple of cassettes before this in the Deuce Avenue discography, Death of Natural Light making the third releases (from what can be seen on discogs), but Noah Anthony has a very extensive catalog of music in other forms. Night Burger and Profligate are two other projects as well as Noah making music in groups like Form A Log, Mindless Attack and Social Junk. Where this is getting at is the talent, patience and skill Deuce Avenue centers around. This composition contains two tracks titled Death of Natural Light and Blood Turns Black, both with two parts. These selections pull thoughts towards the vacuity of the world around us, emphasizing the brief candle lit flames of energy life likens to, microscopic glimmers in a cosmos we have just begun to see its enormity. The Death of Natural Light side is more drone like, distant and tranquilly beautiful. The start hisses and churns, but the finish is the most content selection on the entire composition. Blood Turns Black incorporates an offset rhythm of industry inner workings. A tangle of dark sounds heaving far below the earth's surface. All heard from a vent reaching into the blackness of the Morlock's tunnels.

Death of Natural Light is a Crash Symbols release in an edition of one hundred. Currently there are only two copies remaining on the Crash Symbols bandcamp page. This makes up all the physically available Deuce Avenue releases except for The Blasting Years on No Rent Records. There is one copy available on discogs.
