Dave Fuglewicz - Selected Works, 1990-1997

Wow.... Dave Fuglewicz's sounds are an explosion from the massive electronic recordings of the seventies. They are complex and rich, filled with energy moving in cosmic directions. But unlike the timidness of the earlier synthesizer movement, Dave's compositions hold twenty years of experience. They are very much realized and push minds to the wall. His creativity and proficiency with sonic machines is untouched, and this is thirty years ago.

Thanks to No Part Of It, the "analog years" between 1990 and 1997 have been curated on this selected works composition. Ten blistering selections of a conscious tap into Dave Fuglewicz's creative prowess. At first listen, many of these tracks seem as unbridled plunges into a sonic engineer gone mad. But with individuals like Dave Fuglewicz, his inner aural hearings are so far away in other strange and beautiful places, his sounds are beyond most listener's capacity. Selected Works, 1990-1997 help bridge this unknown distance and bring  us closer to desired understanding. Like the  the fourth track titled "Tetrahedral Fusion", an excellent example of amazing talents extending past the thresholds of what we know while still embodying a warmth from our evolutionary make ups. The fifth track "Opaque Tapestry", could have been from last year, but Dave Fuglewicz created this haunting sonic warp on tape recorders older than most people know. These Selected Works, 1990-1997 are wonderful and a pleasure to experience.

All appreciation goes out to Dave Fuglewicz who passed away in 2021. Wish i could say thanks and let him know how good this is.... But will say thank you to Arvo Zylo and those who helped him bring this compilation to ears. I did not write on Dave Fuglewicz's story because Arvo Zylo did an excellent job of this here on the bandcamp page. I touched on two selections in this description, but everything on this compact disc is blazing good. This one comes out on March 3rd and is available for pre-order now.
