Bad Trips - Melted Teenagers

A horn bellows from the murk of the unknown. Electronics buzz with strafing ferocity of angered bees. The ground below bubbles in caustic torment as rhythms and circuitous melodies float forth. Introductions have been properly revealed as the gateway into Melted Teenagers fixates in aural focus. With the enticing mysterious prelude drifting past, the sonic construct spasms. The aural landscape begins to gently bellow uncovering the sonic equivalent of chromatic wonder. Stunningly, with the known presence of lurking harmonic savagery, Melted Teenagers is most beautifully collected all the way through.

The twelve selections within Melted Teenagers delicately balance on a thin precipice. The sounds are luridly feral but they are far from consciously ferocious. Listening to Melted Teenagers is a full foray into a land lushly filled with carnivorous plants. Evolutionary beauty is beyond contemplation. Fortunately we can enjoy this thought and not perish by being trapped and dissolved in acid like enzymes. From start to finish, Bad Trips have composed a very special album. Sonic creativity at maximum levels, serene and dangerous simultaneously, a record filled with restrained patience meant to be played and enjoyed many times.

Bad Trips is the project of Andy Borsz, David Drucker, Konrad Kamm. All three musicians with extended experience in their own en devours. Together, they have released multiple compositions on cassette through Already Dead Tapes and Solid Melts. Melted Teenagers is their first vinyl release as Bad Trips. After some research Melted Teenagers does not seem to be on a label. Beyond the musicians, Tom Miritello mastered the album, Jane Pain is the creative force in art and photography and David Harthcock completed the layout. At the moment, i can not find a link to purchase Melted Teenagers and am unsure of how many editions there will be. Will change this as the info comes along.
