The Symmetry of Telemetry is like listening on the edge of the Grand Canyon. A vast area of detail created by enormous energies over time. A single listen giving mere outlines of the gorgeously bewildering complexities. The composition holds three pieces, each with their own atmosphere and vibrant constituents. These sounds are difficult to describe as a whole. We listen and take note as the aural world unfolds, but the elements within begin to fill pages of observations. Rick Reed uses immense experience and whetted creativity to compose The Symmetry of Telemetry. A far out world of sonic wonders so jagged and dangerous, brought into your consciousness with care and the delicacy of a spiritual shaman.
Co-released on Austin's Elevator Bath label and the Sedimental label out of Massachusetts for an artist living in Austin. The physical album is available on vinyl in two versions. One hundred editions of clear vinyl and two hundred editions in black. Both versions held in full color jackets with spot glass printing. Also the thoughtful addition of poly-lined inner sleeves. The artwork on the front and back is by Rick Reed. There are also short sleeve t-shirts available with the album artwork. The Symmetry of Telemetry is still in the pre-order phase and is scheduled for release on October 6th. Both clear and black vinyl as well as multiple shirt sizes and currently available.
