SH!TOMATO - s/t

Sonic breath from the winter woods... all is momentarily quiet. An image of Norse facial hair crusted with frost and snow zooms outward focusing now on the aural axe swinging with a drone like whirl. The beats begin, an assault perched in times past, forgotten energy dousing the chronological spectrum like a beautiful stain we hear and not see. SH!TOMATO is all things hearkening. A diverse creativity, taking beats & melodies from an aural construct of twisted cultural decomposing splendor.

Pause. Have had the cassette on repeat for a good amount of days now and after al the more listens, SH!TOMATO has thoughts even more lost and fascinated. The best description now.... Sounds heard just out of reach. Like walking through a city street and hearing music from a party happening behind obscured walls. You want to be there, but all that can be done is to listen more intently. Turn your head to get the best reception, human antenna zeroing in on the most vibrant frequency. SH!TOMATO is a radio station oozing waves in a paradox chaos and order. Full conscious saturation overflowing to thirsty new listeners.

SH!TOMATO is one half of the project Comfort Food. Lost in a Sea of Sound has described two Comfort Food release in the past, both from Already Dead Tapes & Records. For easy exploring, here are the links...

This debut album is also on Already Dead Tapes & Records and is currently available from an edition of one hundred and forty. Every listen is amazing and filled with so much radiant and raw energy. Easily one of the most favorites of the first half of the year so far, and there has been some really good stuff. Thank you Daniel!
