Sir Tad - Generation Joint

Sir Tad has culled vast collected resources and trenchant creativity in composing a current opus in the ongoing body of work. The beauty of Generation Joint is the free flowing sonic essence spanning well over an hour. There are many samples from recorded sources, many of these sound like tapes, but on this album, Sir Tad has implemented a plethora of crafted melodies making the lengthy connection from start to finish. With some of Tynan Krakoff's works, there is more of a droning harmonium creating the canvas for the short and beautiful nostalgic moments from life. Generation Joint finds suite in more musical warbles, recorded origins are more diverse and untamed as well as the euphonious medium encompassing them. This is not to say Sir Tad is playing heavy metal or industrial rhythms, a much more minimal approach using instruments at the perfectly woven level. Generation Joint is a composition to really get lost in. Twenty years of source material and even more in experience. The balance in timbre from beginning to end is key in this listening adventure. A most pleasant simmer of sonic elements never getting cold or boiling over.

Released on Tynan Krakoff's label, DNT Records. Cassettes are currently available but limited to fifty four. The vibrant cover artwork is by Pearl Morgan,
