Huerta Ensamble - S∞S
Riveted in the amorphous nexus of sound. Absorbing creative energies that tranquilize almost more than they invigorate. There are few listening experiences matching the delight of being charged and mesmerized simultaneously. This release titled S∞S is perched most magically on a special precipice. Concepción Huerta and Daniela Huerta are the artists behind the Huerta Ensamble. Two long selections, each taking stand on either side of this beautiful lp. The tones are deep and earthly with a continual feel something far removed molding the construct. A profound tap far into the conscious, bringing towards the physical sonic illustriousness of timeless acumen. S∞S is a composition where listening juxtaposes sinking and floating away. Deep drone spewing from primordial fissures creating rapid sound waves oscillations. Like something brooding deep below emitting steam for us to both hear and feel. There are also moments with the fissures open up to bath the aural spectrum with grand radiance. A sigh or long internal breath to recenter within the cosmic flow. Concepción and Daniela Huerta have composed and crafted the most distinguished body of work with S∞S. This release is special and begins with high regard for all future listeners to experience!
An Elevator Bath release on both clear and black vinyl arriving at the beginning of this month, October 2026. All the markings of absolute brilliance in the production fall in place as well. Poly-lined inner sleeves, full gloss on the front of the jackets, matte finish with spot UV serpent on the back, and Pantone interior flood on the inside jacket walls, like the glow from lava fissures. Mixed by Buena Tarde, mastered by James Plotkin, cut by Andreas Lubich, photography from Rudolfs Osins and the final layout by the Elevator Bath curator, Colin Sheffield. Beautiful sounds carried by love from start to finish, listen most definitely.
