The earth spins through space and time. A hum of sounds blur together droning in the mix of cultural energy. The amalgam is a gravitational force, pulling conscious into the subtle complexities of a world filled with music over centuries of existence. We listen within the journey, experiences patiently developing, slowly swirling together in an inner cosmic fractal array. Culminate is the sonic heartbeat of physical roots extending into ethereal mist.
Lecanoscope is a long running project with a discography dating back thirty years. With this extensive length of time, there have only been a select amount of releases. Most of these have turned to listening dust, being unavailable for purchase or digital streaming. This makes the most recent release Culminate very special. A body of sound, aural shimmering across a temporal landscape. We listen to the beats of tribal ceremonies soon to dissolve in the flow of time and space. Lecanoscope is a mystery of ambient sparkle across countless civilization's rise and fall.
Released on compact disc in an unknown edition. Heavy card stock in a full color printed four panel design. Culminate is part of the Metabolic Music moniker, a "label" for all things Lecanoscope. There really is not much information on who Lecanoscope is other than from Los Angeles on the bandcamp page. Compact discs are currently available.
