Jacob Sunderlin - no such thing as a demo

Talent and creativity, an affinity to share imagination, the words to describe Jacob Sunderlin are simply raw complex beauty. His new composition titled "no such thing as a demo" was recorded straight to iphone through different instances over six years. These selections are filled with both acoustic and electric guitar and emanate impromptu warmth that satisfies our hearts. Jacob traverses robust acoustic guitar passages to tight mind melting electric hypnotism. "no such thing as a demo" is a special listen into the feelings and insight of a heart filled with love.

Eleven selections on a long running tape, did not add it up, but getting lost is easy to do. The sound quality seems to very with both open and closed spaces. Not an expert at guitar set ups, but there seems to be a few selections Jacob plays with a capo on the neck. The pitch seems higher and tight, like courtly pickings for ceremonial pageantry. But this goes in a different direction as well, these higher notes spin close to classical Indian music with Jacob playing his own morning and evening ragas. There is so much in "no such thing as a demo", these words hopefully help focus a small amount of light on how beautiful a "demo" can be. And with this hanging out on the front porch approach, i think this is all i would ever want.

Cassettes in a run of seventy five. Copies are available from Jacobs bandcamp page. Andrew Weathers did the mastering, so there is a little more to it than raw recordings. But how ever he mastered it, the captured momentary beauty exudes in full force.
