Pressing play is a magic button. Decoupling from responsibilities and listing to Shlienze, the world instantly folds away into the glove box and out of sight. As we become familiar with, as we value every moment with, there are artists providing conduits for and through moments we experience. Günter Schlienz is my press play escape button. His sounds radiating from Current, his compositions before and with good fortune those to come, change conscious space with a warming vibrant resonance.

Current moves with swift beautiful energy. Pressing play is diving into refreshing bliss. As the second selection comes to close, Gunter has already transported consciousness. We find ourselves, listeners on precipices, minds looking into newly revealed spectrum of total existence. Current contains nine distinctive selections. Not different enough to wobble the balanced spin of fine spun composition, rather each selection distinguished points along one beautiful trek. Listening to the three longest tracks, "Bliss", "Sea Foam" and "Magnetism", begins to reveal Günter Schlienz's vast creative ability. This also reflects perfectly on the title of the composition. A Current is always changing, eddies forming their own rotations spinning away like endless galaxies.

Released on Muzan Editions a little while back. Cassette copies have sold out form the source. Found one copy on discogs. The digital version is ready to be heard from Muzan Editions.
