Fletina - The Given Moment
Eloquence within the droning blur. Details rising to the sonic surface like the silent flight of a hawk's graceful glide. The cacophony of so many tiny things could be in rhythm with pounding steps of thousands of ants marching to a food source. We do not hear. Sounds present themselves and dissolve with time's continual roll. Their amplitude, our hearing prowess, and the energy each of us give to the fractals of a highly evolved planet, is all we know in the moment. Fletina can help us hear, make awareness ratchet to a higher level. The Given Moment showcases dynamic energy present in all we know, but hidden by a world of responsibility and routine.
Fletina is a project by an artist from Scotland. The Given Moment is the first full length album by the artist/project. Fletina has a bandcamp page with more to explore and there is a compact disc ep titled Casual EP on Here Free Press that preceded this newest cassette. The ep looks like it sold out, making the debut album something special. Only fifty cassettes in this edition by Fort Evil Fruit.
