The connectivity of sounds is special and amazing. After just finishing listening and describing the Fluere Tapes release, Dream Catalogue Vol.1 by Effective Dreaming, play was immediately pressed on a new Jollies Records release by Jordan Christoff titled Mystery Dimensions. Seamless, beautiful, synchronicity working in plain view. Two more sides of melting radiance, with a deeper plunge into the electronic currents. Mystery Dimensions resides within a dense molecular construct. These sounds approach the ambient heavyset, the conscious place where thoughts become a bubble in the cosmic current. Jordan Christoff is beautifully patient and astutely creative, the sounds on this composition are seductively balanced. A deep undertone of anesthetizing drone augmented by some benevolent version of a Will-o'-the-wisp. These two constructs together create an aural landscape of intoxicating delight. Listening to Mystery Dimensions is being a journeyer through extensions of the subtle complexities around us. A beautiful composition sharing special qualities we all need to experience.
